The Full Harvest Moon, and the fall season represent a pivitol point each year for me. Not only is spooky season the best season. And fall the most beautiful and magical, in my opinion. But it embodies the culmination of a cycle that is the same as what we see in a full moon. It is the peak of what we have cultivated for ourselves over the year.
Each full moon is a time to reflect. On the achievements, as well as the mistakes we may have made. The new moon and the spring are a time to plant our seeds. A time to put our desires out into the universe. As the year progresses, and the moon grows, we put in work, dedication, time, energy and so much more into manifesting those desires. Now, here we sit with the fruits of our labor. The harvest from the seeds we planted earlier in the year, both literally and figuratively.

Reflect on the growth that you have made. But donβt get lost in thinking only if you have received what you were asking for. Compare. Contrast. How far of a distance have you made? At our starting points, we may think we know exactly what we want, and how to get it. But, very rarely does life go to plan. What bumps in the road did you encounter? What lessons did you learn? Do you still desire what you wanted in the first place? How have your values and what is important to you evolved? What surprises, good and bad, have snuck up on you?
And be creative in how you measure that distance. Use your full imagination on what the dimensions are. What makes up your harvest? What beautiful souls have you encountered? What emotions have you felt? What experiences stand out as defining and why? Did anything turn out better or worse than you expected? And how did you handle all those varying ripples to waves as they flowed into your existence?

Look at everything youβve achieved. In a way, everything is an achievement, because you are still going. You are on the other side of everything the Universe has thrown your way. If nothing else, it is a lesson to grow from. Now is a time to sit with those thoughts, examine them, and acknowledge the emotions that rise from them. Use those emotions as your teachers and guides. Donβt get lost in the initial rush but dig deeper. Why does it make you feel that way? And how can you grow from it? Am I repeating past lessons?
And donβt forget to be grateful. Do not take all the positive and amazing occurrences in your life for granted. You have received these events in your life for a reason.

And then, as winter arrives, the sunlight dwindles, and the moonlight fades; reflect on where you will go from here. Use everything you have gained in the harvest to push through the cold and quiet. Itβs a time to prepare for what you are going to plant in the spring. There is never a bad time to reflect, reset, and re-adjust. Now is the ultimate time, however, to really examine this cycle of your time on Mother Earth. Where will you travel from here?
I hope that everyone has a lovely Monday. Get out under that full moon tonight and breath. And look for the beauty and love that is all around us.
